In the course of 10 years research, Michal Yakir from Israel discovered a thematic structure in the system of plants
– similar to Jan Scholten‘s system in the area of the elements and minerals – which enables us to confidently prescribe the “minor” homeopathic plant remedies based on their specific “familial” characteristics.
After an introductory explanation of the most important structures of the plant system, the committed homeopath proceeds straight to her chief concern: the precise observation of the developmental processes of the personality,
or rather the particular state of ego formation and detachment from unity in the individual columns of the system.
In the second part, Michal Yakir turns to the precise expression and development within selected columns – the individual plant orders – and explains in detail how this is exhibited, particularly in children. With the corresponding materia medica considerations (for example, Nux moschata) and individual case extracts (for Asarum – hypersensitivity, hyperactivity and alcoholism, Aconitum – tendency to colds, Helleborus – schizophrenia, Hamamelis and Vanilla – enuresis), she provides a wide range of examples to support her observations.
In this 2-hour presentation, the listener is given a revealing insight into the plant system and the characteristics of the plant groups discussed. Michal Yakir‘s infectious enthusiasm stimulates our curiosity to try out this new homeopathic tool and she provides more than enough information to get started.
