    Finest bitter substances for intestinal health
    The drops taste slightly bitter, as they should and I like them, just like chicory, rocket or grapefruit.

    A truly successful recipe from the rich healing treasury of nature! Thanks to their versatile healing effects, bitter herbs are among the most important medicinal plants of all, and no one who wants to support the function of the liver and stomach in a meaningful way can do without them. There are many products on the market, but none have convinced me as much as the bitter drops from Unimedica.

    This Amarum aromaticum contains everything that people need for their health and goes far beyond a traditional bitter tincture. It is rare to find such a well-considered and effective bitter remedy. First of all, I was impressed by the harmonious flavour - pleasantly bitter, complex, aromatic and with many nuances in which you can still taste the individual aroma of the herbs. It's nice that the distinctly bitter flavour doesn't dominate here, as is often the case. Of course, the big bitter plants gentian, wormwood, artichoke and dandelion are also represented here, but none of them overshadow the finer flavours of the gentler herbs such as centaury, yarrow and angelica. To name but a few.

    I find the idea of incorporating extracts of olive leaf (polyphenols!) and grape seeds (OPC!) ingenious. This takes the effect to a whole new level. Boswellia and turmeric as anti-inflammatory plants for the gut also bring many benefits and increase effectiveness.

    The degree of dilution when taking the drops can also be customised - those who appreciate the more intense, bitter taste can let the drops melt on the tongue without the bitterness being unpleasant. The gentler you want to take it, the more water (also warm) you can add. In any case, the aftertaste is pleasant and the soothing effect is immediately noticeable.
