With their mild tangy taste, cress seedlings are ideal to spice up salads and sauces and are especially good as a spread on bread.
The manufacturer writes:
Grown in Europe. Cress seedlings are mucilaginous and therefore unsuitable for the bioSnacky sprouting glass.
Cress seedlings taste tangy with a typical pungency. They sprout very rapidly and are therefore ideal for those new to sprouting. Seedlings are the simplest method to add key vitamins, minerals, trace elements, secondary plant substances and fibre to your diet throughout the year – freshly harvested and “local” from your own windowsill!
Before sowing and before eating, wash thoroughly in clean water. Fine root hairs may develop. Use 1 tablespoon of seeds. There is no need to soak the seeds first. Rinse with water once a day and harvest after 3-5 days. The ideal temperature for sprouting is 18-22°C.
Storage: keep cool, dry and protected from light.
