The gold of the Allgäu pastures for a natural ORGANIC butter taste

ORGANIC Ghee from Allgäu is a speciality from the heart of Germany. It is made with clarified butter from the hay milk of Allgäu cows in premium organic quality. Ghee has a nutty and fine buttery taste with a light caramel flavour and can be used as an alternative to butter.

It can be heated to 210 °C, a high smoke point which means it can be used to make hot dishes. Since it contains no water, the fat does not spit when heated. Up to the smoke point, no trans-fats or other damaging substances are formed.

Ghee is made according to a traditional Ayurvedic recipe. The special melting and cooking process removes the water and milk protein from the butter, so the ghee is lactose-free and suitable for people with allergies. It can also be kept without cooling for several months.

The advantages of ORGANIC Ghee from the Allgäu pastures

The quality of Allgäu ORGANIC Ghee starts with the cows. The hay milk that is used to make the ghee comes from cows kept on organic pastures in Allgäu – in other words, the cattle graze on fresh green grass and wild herbs, without concentrated or GMO feed.

The summer butter used contains milk from grass-fed and pasture-fed cattle without feeding silage. Made and packaged according to Ayurvedic tradition by hand in Germany, the Allgäu ghee fulfils the highest quality standards and is a natural delicacy. The ghee is also gluten-free and GMO-free.

What is ghee used for?

In Indian cuisine, ghee plays a similar role to olive oil in southern Europe. The fat supports the uptake of fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D, E and K) in the body.

Ghee is used for frying, steaming, baking and for anything cooked warm. Vegetables, for example, are roasted with it before being used in dishes. Ghee is also tasty on bread as an alternative to butter.

Use of ghee in Ayurvedic healing

Ghee has a long history of use in Ayurveda and is mentioned 2500 years ago in the Ayurvedic texts. It is an important component of this nutrition and healing tradition. Ghee is not only used in the kitchen but also to support self-healing.

The Allgäu Ghee from Unimedica weighs 500 g.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC AND WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING ADDITIVES
Allgäu Ghee from Unimedica is, according to legal requirements, free of preservatives and still free of additives such as flavouring, colouring, stabilisers and separating agents such as magnesium stearate; it is also GMO-free as well as lactose-free and gluten-free.

An enrichment for every gourmet and much more!
I had never used ghee of this quality before. It has a fine and soft consistency with a wonderful deep yellow colour and the taste is simply heavenly!
It immediately reminded me of something caramelised and also of "Nidletäfeli", which are available in Switzerland. In High German, you would probably call them cream sweets.
The flavour really comes into its own on toast, or melted over vegetables, potatoes, rice, cereals and pulses. Gives sauces a delicious and velvety butter flavour, this subtle sweet to nutty flavour is delicious. I can also recommend ghee in coffee, very delicate without milk sugar!
It is important to know that ghee does not contain milk protein or lactose, but does contain anti-inflammatory fatty acids because it is a butter derivative.
Ghee is also excellent as a gentle eye make-up remover and as a moisturising component on rough and dry skin.
It also contains omega 3 fatty acids, making it a wonderful source of important fatty acids, choline, vitamins and minerals, stimulates digestion and even lubricates the joints with its high bioavailability. Of course, fats and oils should be consumed selectively, as it has a high calorie density. So you can really enjoy an Allgäu organic ghee for a long time and the price is top for this level of quality. Ghee easily lasts for 1 year!

    Best of!
I am passionate about cooking and have already tried several ghee's from different manufacturers. All of them organic products. The Unimedica organic ghee takes 1st place in my kitchen. The product impressed me with its nutty and buttery flavour and its high smoke point. Delicious with vegetables, meat or fish, corn on the cob with salted, liquid ghee is also a real barbecue hit. And to keep up to date, I have tried Bulletproof coffee with the delicious ghee and I am really impressed. I also live in the Allgäu and know what dairy products are made when you see the happy cows! So thumbs up and full marks read more ...

    The tastiest ghee ever
I am simply delighted with the great flavour and how well it can be used for frying, cooking and refining - Unimedica's ghee will become a regular in my cupboard!

A long time ago, I was invited to dinner with friends who cook with ghee and I wasn't particularly impressed by the flavour, so when I was given a jar of Unimedica ghee as a gift, I thought: now I have to try it again ... I was sceptical at first, but knowing that my friends use a different brand, I decided to give it a try and I have to say, luckily, otherwise I would have missed out on something very tasty - I am totally thrilled and 100% convinced by the product, mega tasty, thank you Unimedica for the great product!

I had friends over at the weekend and used this ghee to fry the roast potatoes and refine the vegetables, they were all delighted with how delicious it tasted, none of my visitors had ever used ghee before. I have probably found more ghee friends here ... who will be using it in the near future.

    A holiday for the senses
Open the glass and the aroma of fresh hay and countless flowers from a late summer meadow immediately wafts towards you. The aroma alone is an incredible experience, which is only surpassed by the flavour. It's simply incredible and you simply have to try it and I guarantee you won't want any other ghee in your kitchen. read more ...

    Very tasty ghee
I am delighted with this ghee. I have already tried several ghees and also made my own and this one is at least as good as homemade ghee and you save yourself all the work.
It tastes great, smells really good and is very easy to work with.
I use it for cooking, in the morning for my porridge, to steam the apples in and for frying.

    Simply ghee-nial and dog-tested!
A ghee that impresses with its quality and flavour - simply a very special gold from the jar. I not only like to spread it on my bread, but also use it for cooking and baking. And even my dog gets a portion in her food from time to time... Our rating: Five stars from me and four paws up from her. read more ...

    Multitalent Ghee
According to ancient Indian traditional medicine, ghee is an all-round remedy.
I use it for frying/cooking, for example, as it can be heated to a higher temperature and is more beneficial to health than butter, for example. It tastes pleasantly nutty and I can be sure of the excellent quality at Narayana. It is important to me that it comes from cows that are fed on grass pasture.
It is also supposed to help very well with colds/coughs and dry eyes, there was probably a successful study on this. I will be trying out a few things soon.

    Simply delicious in flavour
I have already tried ghee from various manufacturers and have now found my new favourite! I am particularly impressed by the flavour, which is simply special. It seems to be due to the hay milk! I use ghee for frying and to refine my dishes as a lactose-free butter substitute. Very, very tasty!!! read more ...
