uncommon, singular and distinguishing (characteristic) Symptoms, and if these are met within the disease to be caused io tbe greatest number and in the greatest similarity, this medicine is the most appropriate homoeopathic SPECIFIC REMEDY for this morbid state".

Such, alone, are the "specifics" that we may think of after having given our imagination the widest possible stretch. And we can rather go to the extent to say, with out any quasm of conscience that under the System if "specifics" are ultimately found, made or believed to be so, that very act may well be expanded into completely an independant system in due course —BUT should be named as such, anything but not homosepathy from right now.
