    How much EPA and DHA
    Unfortunately, the information on this salmon oil is insufficient. Salmon oil is given to supply the animal with EPA and DHA. If you look at the fish oil capsules here in the shop, this information is of course also available.
    The salmon oil for dogs and cats is obtained from farmed salmon. Farmed salmon is also fat, but this fat usually contains no EPA and DHA because the farmed salmon is fed with grain and not fish. Vitamin E is also added to the fish oil capsules so that the oil has a longer shelf life, unfortunately this has been omitted from the bottles. Even with vitamin E, a bottle stored in the refrigerator should be used up or disposed of after about 8 weeks. However, as the most important ingredients - namely EPA and DHA - are missing here anyway, I would not buy this product. It is better to spend a little more money and buy the capsules or buy small bottles where there is information about the corresponding quantities of EPA/DHA and vitamin E is already included.     read more ...
