Eine Tagesdosis deckt den Tagesbedarf eines Erwachsenen (Prozentsatz der Nährstoffbezugswerte gem. Verordnung VO (EU) 1169 / 2011 (LMIV)) an Chrom zu 250 %.

Die sogenannte Konjakwurzel gehört zu den Aronstabgewächsen und stammt aus tropischen und subtropischen Gefilden. Sie ist relativ reich an Eiweiß und besteht vor allem aus Ballaststoffen, was sie für eine kalorien- und kohlehydratarme Ernährung besonders wertvoll macht. Aus der gemahlenen Konjakwurzel werden in Asien zum Beispiel die Shirataki-Nudeln hergestellt, die mittlerweile begehrt für die Low Carb Ernährung sind.
