Louis Klein 10.-11. May 2008 in Kandern
Glimpses of the seminar with Louis KleinSubject: Miasms and NosodesLouis Klein is a homeopathic pioneer, who uses many previously unknown nosodes. On the basis of his broad clinical experience, he has recognized more and more connections between the individual remedies and their corresponding miasms. He describes new miasms and defines the existing miasms anew in a clear, understandable way. According to him, miasms are nothing more than resulting chronic states of infectious diseases, and nosodes are the remedies derived from these infectious diseases. Among other remedies, Louis Klein will introduce the Tetanus nosode. He will present relevant cases and similar remedies which belong to this miasm, such as Angustura, Hypericum and Strychnine. |
"On reflecting on the chronic state of the Tetanus miasm I became more aware of the links between underlying themes of some of the main homeopathic remedies in this miasm- Helodrilus, Hypericum perfolatum, Angustura vera, Tellurium and Tetanus nosode. The main theme is a conflict between stretching versus tension and spasm. On a mind and dispositional level this conflict can be represented by on the one hand, stretching the intellect or consciousness and on the other tensing or rigidifying such as through rules or dogma. On a physical level, it can be understood as the conflicting term “spastic paresis” or various states of spasm with paralytic weakness of individual muscles or muscle groups."
Louis Klein has also applied this method effectively in serious hereditary diseases. He successfully treated a six-year-old girl suffering from severe Epidermolysis bullosa. Epidermolysis bullosa (Weber-Cockayne Syndrome) is a group of hereditary disorders in which even the smallest injuries cause a massive eruption of blisters on the skin.
"I knew from my experience, that the child was not going to fit into well known homeopathic remedies or even many of the groups of unusual remedies that I was familiar with. I also knew that this disease was treated homeopathically in an imperfect way and I wanted to set out to understand some of the roots of this crippling hereditary condition...I was now looking for an underlying causative or miasmatic agent and a reflection of this chronic disease in an acute disease ... I wanted to find something that would in an acute disease cause a great blister like swelling as well as diarrhea. I looked, searched through various options. Then what came to me was gangrene, anaerobic bacteria which in gas gangrene creates a huge blister ... I felt that if we see how this same type of acute pathology is translated into a chronic condition then we could see its similarity to diseases where there is chronic blistering. Not only that, when I thought of the child covering herself and rather dark personality it seemed to match what I could conceive of the general mental and emotional state of a homeopathic remedy made from an anarobe like Clostridium perfringens... I am pleased to say the child responded beautifully to one dose of Clostridium perfringens 30c. She has been virtually blister free and hood free for over 5 years and her personality is now cheery and well-balanced. Extract
