David Warkentin has passed away
David Warkentin died on 9. September this year after a prolonged illness.
David Warkentin
David Warkentin was one of the great revolutionaries of homeopathy. His software MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks had a main impact on the development of modern homeopathy.
Below please find an excerpt of the orbituary of the team of his company "Kent Homeopathic Associates".
"We join with you and the global homeopathic community in mourning the passing of our dear friend, mentor and founder David Warkentin, on Thursday, September 9th, 2010. He was 59. David died peacefully at home, attended by those whom he loved, his spirit buoyed by the many prayers, blessings and messages of love and gratitude he received from all over the world.
David's diagnosis in early July and subsequent ordeal with brain tumors and melanoma left him little time to fully acknowledge all of the kind messages and emails he received with your offers of support and assistance. It meant so much to him to be the recipient of so much admiration and appreciation for his contribution to your lives and the work of homeopaths everywhere.
David's founding of Kent Homeopathic Associates in 1986 assured that his visionary programs, MacRepertory and ReferenceWorks, could extend beyond the shores of his native California to reach an international audience. His collaborations with the world's foremost homeopaths and authors over the last two decades are enshrined in the features of the programs.
We will be hosting a memorial and celebration of Davids life on October 3 in California and we look forward to gathering people from all over the world to honor David and share our love and gratitude for him and his life's work."
