Scope: The following General Terms and Conditions shall apply exclusively to the business relationships between Narayana Verlag and the Customer in the version applicable at the date of the order.
1. Prices: All prices include statutory value-added tax, VAT. All prices are subject to change without notice; errors and omissions excepted. Prices shall apply which are in effect on the date of the order. The fixed national list price of the books on offer can in exceptional cases vary between the order and delivery dates. In this case the fixed national list price at the date of delivery is applicable (paragraph 3 clause 1, Law on the Fixed National List Price of Books (§ 3 Satz 1 Buch PrG)).
2. Withdrawal: Consumers have a legal right to withdraw. Consumers are all natural persons who conclude legal transactions that are of a kind predominantly applicable to neither their business nor their self-employment (§ 13 BGB).

Right of withdrawal You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and nominated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. Consequences of withdrawal If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate to us your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. - End of the notice of right of withdrawal

EXCEPTIONS FROM RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL There is no right of withdrawal for the following listed products: • Goods that, due to health or hygiene reasons, are unsuitable to be returned and for which the original packaging has been opened (especially foodstuffs). • Goods with a short shelf-life or for which the expiry date has been exceeded. • Audio CDs, DVDs or computer software in sealed packaging if the seal has been broken after delivery. • Downloads of ebooks, video or audio files if Narayana has fully provided the service and the customer has noted before ordering and explicitly consented that Narayana can commence rendering the service and that the customer forfeits their right of withdrawal when the contract has been completely fulfilled. • Periodicals, journals or illustrated magazines with the exception of subscription contracts.

3.1 You can find a list of our shipping fees here.
3.2 Narayana Verlag sells alcoholic drinks only to adults aged 18 or over. Buyers must therefore confirm when ordering that they are at least 18 years old. Buyers are also obliged to make sure that they themselves take delivery of the goods. For the legal protection of children and young people, an identity and age check is performed when the goods are handed over. Please have an appropriate identity document ready to take delivery.
4. Forms of Payment: The goods can be paid for by debit (only with a German bank), cash on delivery, advance payment by bank / wire transfer or by credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard). Payment by invoice is only possible with first orders where the value of goods does not exceed EUR 50.00. If payment per invoice is nevertheless required, you must obtain the consent of Narayana Verlag in advance.
5. Links: This website contains links to external websites of third parties over whose content we have no control. Therefore, we cannot accept any liability for the content of these sites. The relevant provider or operator of the website is responsible for the content of the linked pages. When the link was created, the linked sites were examined for possible violations of the law. No unlawful content was evident at the time the link was created. Continuous monitoring of the contents of the linked sites, however, without concrete evidence of a violation of the law, is not reasonable. Should we become aware of any violations of the law, we will remove the relevant links immediately.

7. Reservation of Title: The goods remain our property until payment has been made in full. If your address changes in this period, please notify us immediately. Place of performance for delivery and payment is Kandern, Germany. German law applies to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
